 Ingredients:

  • 1 pound fettuccine pasta
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions:

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente.
  • While the pasta is cooking, melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a simmer.
  • Add the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper to the saucepan and stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  • Drain the cooked pasta and return it to the pot.
  • Pour the Alfredo sauce over the pasta and toss until the pasta is evenly coated with the sauce.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Fettuccine Alfredo!
Note: You can add some cooked chicken, shrimp, or vegetables to the pasta and Alfredo sauce for a heartier meal.
