Easy and Delicious Paneer Bhurji Recipe for a Quick Meal

 Ingredients:

  • 200 grams paneer, crumbled
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 1 large tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • A handful of chopped coriander leaves, for garnish

Instructions:

  • Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  • Add onions and green chili to the pan and sauté until the onions turn translucent.
  • Add ginger and garlic paste and sauté for a minute until the raw smell goes away.
  • Add tomatoes to the pan and mix well. Cook for a couple of minutes until they turn soft and mushy.
  • Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt to the pan. Mix well and cook for a minute.
  • Add crumbled paneer to the pan and mix well with the masala.
  • Cook for 3-4 minutes until the paneer is well coated with the spices and is heated through.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves before serving.
  • Serve hot with roti or any Indian bread of your choice.
