Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 1/4 cups cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon espresso powder (optional)

Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with butter or cooking spray.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat, then add sugar and stir until combined. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs until light and fluffy. Add the cooled butter and sugar mixture to the eggs and whisk until combined.

- Stir in the vanilla extract, flour, and chocolate chips until well combined.
