Ingredients:
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F).
Brush the salmon fillets with olive oil on both sides and season them generously with salt and pepper.
Place the salmon fillets on the grill, skin-side down. Close the lid and cook for about 5-6 minutes or until the skin is crispy and the flesh is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
Carefully flip the salmon fillets over using a spatula and grill the other side for an additional 2-3 minutes or until fully cooked through.
Remove the salmon fillets from the grill and transfer them to a serving platter. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top and garnish with fresh herbs, if desired.
Serve the grilled salmon hot and enjoy!
Note: If you prefer, you can also grill the salmon on a cedar plank for additional flavor and moisture. Soak the cedar plank in water for at least 30 minutes before placing it on the grill. Place the seasoned salmon fillets on the plank and grill them as usual.
