Ingredients:

  • 1 pie crust, store-bought or homemade
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (such as cheddar or Gruyere)
  • 1 cup diced cooked ham or bacon (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped vegetables (such as spinach, mushrooms, or onions)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and press it down firmly. Trim any excess dough from the edges and prick the bottom of the crust with a fork.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, and paprika until well combined.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheese, diced ham or bacon (if using), and chopped vegetables.
  5. Pour the egg mixture into the pie crust and smooth it out with a spatula.
  6. Bake the quiche in the preheated oven for 35-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
  7. Remove the quiche from the oven and let it cool for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
  8. Serve the quiche warm or at room temperature and enjoy!

Note: You can customize this recipe to your liking by adding different types of cheese, vegetables, or meats. Additionally, you can use a different type of crust, such as a gluten-free or low-carb crust, if desired.
