Recipe of Oatmeal Smoothie

 Ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup cooked oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup almond milk (or milk of your choice)
  • 1/4 cup Greek yogurt (or non-dairy yogurt)
  • 1 tsp honey (or sweetener of your choice)
  • A sprinkle of cinnamon
  • Handful of ice cubes

Instructions:

  • Cook the oatmeal according to package instructions and let it cool down to room temperature.
  • Peel the banana and chop it into smaller pieces.
  • Add the banana, cooked oatmeal, almond milk, Greek yogurt, honey, cinnamon, and ice cubes to a blender.
  • Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness or thickness as desired by adding more honey or almond milk, or more ice cubes for a thicker texture.
  • Pour the smoothie into a tall glass, and garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or some fresh berries, if desired.
